Home on Crooked Creek

Glad you are here!  Please take a seat on our porch.  Would you like the porch swing or comfy chair?  Make yourself comfortable.   So glad you chose to come pay us a visit.  I hope you will enjoy the view here on Crooked Creek.   My name is Becky and I live here with my husband Jack.  We love our little spot in the country.  We raise a few head of cattle and tend to some bee hives. We enjoy sitting our our porch in the evenings and watching the momma cows and their babies moving around the pastures.  We have a couple of spots fenced off to protect the bee hives.  This is one of our newest enterprises.

Jack and I have a passion for everything agriculture.  Both of us have spent most of our lives in and outside the classroom teaching young people how important agriculture is to our future and what their role can be.    I am still in the classroom and one of my favorite classes is Floral Design.  Let me tell you the aroma of flowers in that room is wonderful!   And, while I can’t share the wonderful perfume of the flowers with you here, I can share what I have learned.  That’s the goal.   This blog is a space where I will share with you what Jack and I have learned over the years about this wonderful life we live.  So, here is to our new adventure!  I hope you enjoy it!
